Kismet Match ("Kismet," "we," "us") is operated by Kismet Vibes, Los Angeles, California. By using kismetvibes.com or the Kismet Match app (the "Service") you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service is
Kismet Match produces compatibility readings based on Vedic astrology from the birth details you provide. The readings are for personal interest and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and they are not a prediction of any outcome. Decisions about your relationships are yours.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. By using the Service you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your login private. You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.
4. Other people's details
When you enter someone else's birth details, or invite them, you confirm that you have a legitimate personal reason to do so. Do not use the Service to profile, harass, or track anyone. Invited people see the shared reading but never your birth details.
5. Free and paid features
Your first reading is free. Readings you are invited to are free. Other readings require Kismet Plus or a single reading purchase.
Kismet Plus is a subscription billed monthly or yearly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Founding members keep their founding price for as long as their subscription remains active without interruption. Prices are shown before you buy and may change for new subscribers.
Payments are processed by Stripe on the website and by Apple in the app. We do not store card numbers.
6. Refunds
Purchases are generally non-refundable once a reading has been unlocked. If a purchase went wrong, contact hello@kismetvibes.com within 14 days and we will review it in good faith.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, copy, or reverse engineer the Service, and do not use automated tools to create accounts or readings.
8. Our content
The readings, text, design, and the Kismet name and logo belong to us. You may share your own reading card and link freely. You may not republish the readings at scale.
9. Availability and changes
We may change or discontinue features. We will give notice of material changes to paid features.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kismet Match collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what a reading needs, we do not sell it, and you can delete it yourself.
What we collect
Birth details you enter. Date, time, place, gender, and a first name, for you and for anyone you read. These are needed to compute a reading.
Account details. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple. We use these to keep your readings and to contact you about your account.
Invite details. The first name and the email or phone number of a person you invite, used only to send them the link.
Readings. The results we compute, saved to your account so you can return to them.
Payment details. Handled by Stripe (website) or Apple (app). We receive confirmation that you paid and which plan; we never receive your card number.
Technical data. The usual server logs and basic analytics: pages visited, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and events such as "reading completed." We use this to keep the Service working and to understand what people use.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your birth details with other users. Invited people see the shared reading and your first name only. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Where it is stored
On Google Firebase servers in the United States. Emails are sent through Hostinger. Payments are processed by Stripe and Apple. Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, readings, and saved people are deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Payment records are kept as required by tax law.
Your rights
You can view and change your details on your profile page, and delete your account there at any time. California residents have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email hello@kismetvibes.com for any request; we respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and to hand your form entries to the reading page. If we add analytics cookies we will say so here.
Children
The Service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top.
